Njabulo Sfiso Khoza whose stage name is  ZuluSwagg is an artist who was born in Northern KwaZulu Natal, Vryheid. He grew up in North West, Rustenburg. He is turning 27 this year. He is a Multi Award-Winning Radio Presenter, Voice Over Artist, and a Social Media Influencer.
WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO BE IN MEDIA?
I grew up listening to the radio a lot. That played a huge role in being the person that I am today. I started doing music back in high school in back-room studios. When other learners didn’t know what they will be doing after matric, I already knew I wanted music and radio. Nothing else. I started working towards my dream after high school.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN THE MEDIA INDUSTRY?
I got my first radio gig in 2015, at a community radio station in Rustenburg called Village FM. I have worked for about 4 radio stations which include: Evoque Radio Kasie FM in Johannesburg. I have hosted Red Carpets, TV Interviews & reality shows. I have been around & active for about 8 years now.
WHAT ARE THE CHALLENGES FOR SOMEONE WHO IS IN MEDIA?
It is not easy. Especially these days it’s all about connections, numbers more than talent. They hire mainstream influencers and celebrities more instead of talent. Another challenge is most companies pay you what they think you deserve than what you are actually worth.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO BE IN THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY?
Research about the industry, get an agent, submit demos. go to those interviews over and over again, invest in our brand and push more, never give up.
WHAT SHOULD WE EXPECT FROM YOUR BRAND THIS YEAR?
Other projects that are out of media have been keeping me busy but ill try to release a single this year, hopefully, I will also be back on air.
